Earth Day

April 22, 2023

The Sweetbay Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society and Bay County Audubon Society will be joining us this Saturday morning at BCC's  Palm Preserve to celebrate Earth Day. It is right next to the Gallery of Art on Beach Drive. This is a small event since there isn't a large one this year. The Palm Preserve is just full of labeled native plants to check out. The Sweetbay Chapter will have some native plants available you can take home to your yard, for a donation. Gerry Chan will provide entertainment on guitar, weather permitting. Please join us 9 a.m. - noon. Parking is across the street at the Panama City Visitor Center or on Beach Drive. It's an easy walk over to the Farmers' Market at McKenzie Park. And you may also be interested in checking out the eco-market at Make Waves: Earth Day 2023 at the Sapp House. See you there!
