Hazel and Herselle Wilderness Preserve
Roy Clarke and Ann Clarke Snell donated their undivided 2/3 interest in 24 acres of upland, creek and swampland in Calhoun County. BCC later acquired the remaining 1/3 of the land from Myra and Raymond Worsham. The family wished to honor family members, Hazel Fields Clarke and Herselle Fields McBride. The property is located off Highway 69 in Calhoun County and contains a creek and an old cemetery.
